Indiana State Police Lt. Gary Dudley, an avid bike rider, died on August 22, 2006. He was killed while participating in a charity bicycle ride to raise funds and awareness for the Indiana Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.).

GARY'S RIDE is a recreational bicycle ride for cyclists of all ages and levels of cycling experience. Several distances are available to choose from so you can select the distance most comfortable for you.
GARY'S RIDE was created to support The Gary Dudley Memorial Scholarship Foundation. All proceeds from this ride directly benefit Gary's Foundation.
Activities for kids of all ages
There will also be many activities for children of all ages to enjoy at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, including Police, Fire, EMS, and Department of Natural Resources equipment and displays.
